A quick quote from the famous Jim Rohn. Life has its ups and downs and it is like that for them. Don’t wish your problems would “wash away”. Wish you were better equipped to handle them.

Attack Your Business With A Passion!

February 23rd, 2008 |

When someone gets started in a there are only two possible outcomes for that person: success and failure. A few will make it and the rest will fall to the wayside. There are a number of reasons that can lead to both success and failure, but in this post I would like to address the passion with which we build our business. We need to make a firm and solid commitment to our business. Instead of saying “I will go ahead and give this a shot” say “this is what I am going to do”. The latter phrase does not allow for failure. You can try something and fail, but if you commit 100%, and work your business with a passion THERE WILL BE NO FAILING!

That is why the initial commitment is so important. If you go in with a mindset of just “trying”, that keeps the possibility of failure in your realm. And you do not give your business the dedication it deserves.

You have to know you are going to succeed! You have to get excited about the business. You can’t give it a try you have to do it!

When you are enthusiastic and passionate about your business, others will pick up on t his and will naturally become attracted to you. Your team members will follow in your footsteps and force your business into momentum. It is really that simple.

Make your commitment to your business today. Attack every aspect of you business with passion and lead others to work with the same dedication and “never fail” attitude. Your business will explode and you will start to see all of your lifetime goals accomplished!

Time Versus Money. Who Wins?

February 16th, 2008 |

If you could have more or more which would you choose? No you can’t pick both (yet). I think most people would choose money. At first thought, money is more attractive because that is what pays the bills. People use money as the vehicle to get what they want, and that is not necessarily a bad thing. But money is not a limited resource (despite what most people think). Unfortunately, time is. Our clock is ticking and we only have a limited amount of time on this earth. No amount of money can buy us more time.

The sad truth is most people live by the 40/40 rule. 40 years of 40 hours per week at work, with not enough funds to ever truly retire and their most vibrant years spent slaving away at their job.

How can we escape the 40+ hours per week at a job? All of us have bills to pay. We trade our time for money. It makes sense, but I believe all of us are more valuable than just the hourly wage or weekly salary we earn at a job.

We need to learn how to get paid for our results, not our time. At first it may seem impossible. Our whole life we are taught to find a good job, and work as hard as we can to move up the corporate ladder. The first step is to break away from that mentality and learn to think like a successful person.

The next step is to learn to create value for the marketplace. If you can create value, you will never have to worry about getting paid for your time again. You will be paid what you are worth. How do we provide value?

Creating a unique product and service is one way. But that can take years to develop the product, a lot of overhead, and frustrations in the manufacturing process. Most of use cannot wait the years it can take to turn a profit in a traditional brick & mortar business.

What we need is a turnkey business that has an established product with low start-up costs. Where do we find such a thing? Right here! The internet is full of companies just waiting for you. To truly leverage your time and create , a network marketing company is best. A company provides you with the ability to prove your true worth to the marketplace. The company has an established product and you distribute it. You do not have to worry about developing the product, manufacturing costs, employees, or shipping. The start-up costs are low and there is no ceiling cap on your earnings. What could be better?

Once you become successful you can truly leverage your time. You will develop true residual income, something you will NEVER develop in a job. With time being such a limited resource, isn’t it time you started a business that will allow you to enjoy every minute you have left?

Are You Afraid to Succeed?

February 8th, 2008 |

That seems like a silly question. Success is what we all want. Name one person on this beautiful earth that does not want more for themselves and their families. Everyone wants to get out of debt and stop living paycheck to paycheck. But are we willing to go out and get it?Most people aren’t. They spend hours researching different and ways to get rich. They weigh their options. They talk to their friends and families (other people who haven’t achieved financial freedom) and think about all the reasons why this isn’t for them. Why it won’t work. Why they can’t do it.

And what happens? They don’t do it! And then they go back to the same mediocrity they are accustomed to and start all over again.

They say if you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you have always got. If you are looking to change your life, you are going to have to start making changes! Don’t worry about the what if’s!

What if it doesn’t work? WHAT IF IT DOES? What if this is the opportunity of your lifetime? We have to start holding ourselves accountable and stop blaming the exterior factors. If others can do it you can too.

It is not always fast, and it is never always easy. Their is a comfort zone you will have to step out of to become successful in this business. You will want to quit several times. You will face rejection. But is it worth it to you?

Ask yourself that. I know it is. I am pretty sure it is for you as well because you are on a blog such as this. Do not be afraid to succeed. And as long as you never give up there is no failure. So what are you waiting for?

7 Easy Tips to Jump-Start Your Home-Based Business

February 5th, 2008 |

Everyone knows the first 90-120 days in a new are extremely important. These first few months set the tone for long-term success or failure. The quicker you get into profit the more likely you are to stay with the business and create a significant income. Here are 7 ways to jump-start your business to help you get into profit quickly!

1. Make A Commitment: Treat your business like a business. If you are in this business to get paid like a business, do not treat it like a hobby. Hobbies don’t pay.

2. Develop Your Routine: Work your business consistently and develop a marketing plan that you will follow every day. All of the little seeds you plant on a daily basis will soon begin to sprout!

3. EXPOSURE, EXPOSURE, EXPOSURE: When you get into the business no one puts a sign above your head. You have to put your opportunity in front of as many people as possible, as often as possible (and learn the right way to do this).

4. Set Goals: Goals help you track your progress and keep you focused on your task at hand. Set short, medium, and long-term goals.

5. Create a Budget: Track all your expenses. Test different ways of advertising and find what works best for you. Then, set a budget you can afford that will help you maximize results.

6. Invest in Your Education: You can never stop learning, no matter how successful you are. The day you stop learning is the day you stop living. There is a wealth of information out there and those who hold the most will be the winners at the end of the race.

7. Stay Positive: This is a marathon, not a race. There will be many ups & downs on your way to the top. Never get too up on the highs and too down on the lows. Keep a positive mindframe and keep choppin’ wood! How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

Print this list out and write a plan on how you can implement each one into your business. I guarantee these will help you get your new business into profit and set the way for long-term financial success!

Congratulations to the Giants!

February 4th, 2008 |

In what was one of the more memorable Super Bowl’s in recent years, the New York Giants defeated the previously undefeated New England Patriots, 17-14 (hope you took the under!). While I cannot say that I predicted the outcome correctly, I can say I enjoyed the game and was happy the Giants won (sorry Patriot fans). Here’s to hoping we see the Ravens in next years big game! And so another season of football comes to an end (no one cares about the Pro Bowl). How many days until the draft?

Turning Your Desires Into Reality

January 31st, 2008 |

“I had learned, from years of experience with men, that when a man really desires a thing so deeply that he is willing to stake his entire future on a single turn of the wheel in order to get it, he is sure to win.”-Thomas Edison, Inventor (1847-1931)

If we were to put all of the most successful people in the world in one room and find common traits among them, what would we find as the most common characteristic?

They had all been highly educated?

No.

They came from ?

No.

They wanted success more than their competition?

Yes! Successful people, whether they are doctors, business owners, professional athletes, entertainers, or high ranking politicians, all had uncanny amounts of desire as they rose to the top. Thomas Edison knew this, and surely it was his desire to become one of the greatest inventors of all time. That is what drove Edison.

What drives you? What is it that you really want? Is your desire strong enough that you would risk everything you have to get it? If you want to change your financial circumstances, ask youself how bad? Are you serious enough to actually make a change.

Unfortunately, if we are being honest with ourselves the answer for most people is “No”. Most people WANT more, but not enough to actually do what it takes to GET more. Most people will read this post and get inspired and THINK about how much they wish they could improve their circumstance. How many will actually take action? Not many. Not enough.

The first step to success is to believe it. Wholeheartedly. Live it. Do not read this and get inspired for 20 minutes. Get inspired for life! Take action and do not look back. Take Thomas Edison’s advice. If you want to achieve something, want it with a passion. Make that the driving force in your life.

Search Optimization Tips For Your Blog

January 30th, 2008 |

Relevant Content: Content is king to search engines. Useful and helpful content in your will increase your page rank. And stay on topic. If you are blogging about the stock market, do not flood your blog with quick ‘n easy recipes!

Fresh Content: No one likes old, boring content. Search engines are no different. A blog with recently updated content will beat an outdated blog (all other factors being equal).

Keywords and Phrases: Use strong keywords in your titles and your writing. This enables the robots to pick up on your topic easier and increase your ranking. However, you must not blatantly overuse keywords. Simply repeating a word or phrase 3,453 times will result in getting your blog removed from search engines, and will cost you readers.

Be Consistent: Try to keep your posts on a somewhat regular routine. You do not need to have to be an exact schedule but writing 11 posts one week and 0 the next will lose your audience.
